Aluminium window frames are slimmer than uPVC and timber, allowing more natural light to enter your home. This creates a more sleek and contemporary look and maximises views of your garden. You can also complement the look of your home with custom colours including white aluminium windows for a classic look, or grey aluminium windows for a more contemporary feel.
Aluminium windows have a thermal break, improving heat gain and reducing heat loss. Treated glass, argon gas and insulated frames add to the thermal efficiency of the windows. This helps to keep your home at a comfortable temperature throughout the year, reducing the need for heating and so reducing your energy bills.
Shoot-bolt locks and key-locking handles are standard on double-glazed aluminium windows, providing high levels of home security. Internal beading prevents window glass from being removed by potential intruders, and the aluminium frames provide a strong structure that’s very difficult to damage.
We create, or extrude, our own uPVC window frames for our stormproof casement and tilt & turn windows at our Norwich factory. Making our own uPVC frames means we have complete control over their quality from start to finish.
